Like many Americans, this LA Times blogger has an opinion on the foreign policy strategy of the US government:
U.S. military exertions in the Greater Middle East have long since satisfied the colloquial definition of insanity: Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.
Those most deeply invested in the status quo – those benefiting from a condition of perpetual war – dismiss alternatives out of hand, arguing that no choice exists but to press on.
Unfortunately, after the author defines insanity, he follows with foreign policy suggestions that are similar to those that have been put forward before by well-meaning Americans who are not, and never will be, anywhere near a position of power within the US government.
Does the author actually believe the elites are going to suddenly follow his advice? Believing Washington DC can be tamed and saved – that is truly insane.
Withdrawing from an abusive relationship is an actual, sane solution: New Hampshire Independence.
Vince adds diverse experience to the Foundation with a background in broadcasting, accounting, and telecommunications. He loves living in the freest state in America, New Hampshire. With a “Live Free or Die” attitude and a strong independent streak, Vince feels right at home among his fellow N.H. citizens. He was raised to respect others and to work hard to achieve his goals, and thus takes pride in saying he has “the best parents, ever.” When Vince isn’t working on the Foundation, he enjoys hiking, reading, and relaxing with a great New England micro brew.
The goal of the Foundation for New Hampshire Independence is to educate citizens on the benefits of the 'Live Free or Die' state peacefully declaring its independence and separating from the federal government of the United States.
